Upgrade path 1.2 -> 1.6

Hi!

We have egroupware 1.2xx in use and now I’m planning to upgrade it to 1.6.
Can I do it directly or should I upgrade to 1.4 first.
We use mail, calendar, syncml and resources only.

Ok, I tried upgrade directly from 1.2 to 1.6 but it didn’t work.

What went wrong?

Do we have to upgrade 1.4 then 1.6 ?

can’t we just restore 1.2’s backup to 1.6 ?

any idea?

Yes I made it by uprading first to 1.4 and then 1.6
and it works

But if i take backup of pgsql DB with pgadmin3 like tool of egw.1.2 and then
remove egw 1.2 ,
install egw 1.6 &
restore that backup. Will that work?

Hi!

Database structure has changed quite a lot so I believe it doesn’t work
