The status attribute of projects reflects different information depending on
- the presence of used time in project elements and
- the view selected (project list or element list).
I think that’s a bit confusing.
If there is no used time assigned to the project elements, tasks in my case, the project status reflects the completed percentage of the project based on:
- the completed percentage of its elements and
- the assigned planned time of its elements
However, if there is used time assigned to elements, the project status reflects the consumed percentage of the accumulated planned time. BUT, this happens only in the element view. If you see the same project in the project view, the project status is again the completed percentage.
To sum up, we have different values for different views of the same attribute. It makes no sense.
