Php_value mbstring.func_overload 7 => NO CHANGE from 0 via .htaccess

Hello.

I have a clean install (1.8.002) and have added php_value mbstring.func_overload 7 to the egroupware folder’s .htaccess file. There is no change from ‘0’.

I have a Linux installation where eGroupware was installed manually (via tarball). PHP version is 5.2.17.

Any ideas?

Do I even need to worry about mbstring.func_overload not = 7?

I will only be using English (U.S).

Thanks.

No, you’re fine without.
