I try ti setup free egw, vers 14.3.007, where I need that data folder is place on nfs mount.
When I try to set this on setup, egw tell me that folder I previous specify is not exist. I double check, just for sure, but folder is there…
I have setup the package from opensuse.org on ubuntu 14.4
I suspect that the problem is the apache config that not permit to go outside…
Can someone confirm this??

More PHP config done via our Apache configuration
You find it on Ubuntu under /etc/egroupware/apache.conf, search for
open_basedir.
