Hello !

We are proud to announce the release of our iphone client for eGroupware named iGroupMind.
iGroupMind is an advanced eGroupware client specifically designed for your iPhone. It offers a simple visual interface to quickly access and organize your meetings, tasks, things to do, ideas and projects.

iGroupMind was developped by the technological partnership between our iPhone Development Center Team and Luxembourg Public Research Centre Henri Tudor.

Warning : iGroupMind needs a mandatory installation, on your eGroupware server, of a communication program : e4imind
This program is freely downloadable on the igroupmind web site.

iGroupMind App is available on the iPhone App Store, in english and french language, following this link at public price of 24,99€.

Until feb 01, the launch price is 14,99€.

Excellent news, I have been sorely missing a good eGW / iPhone app, and this looks promising.

I downloaded and installed on my server and iPhone.
Put in the login information into the settings on the iPhone and logged in…

A few things :

I can see all my contacts, and can edit/add to them from the iPhone (excellent)
however I can’t access any of my calender or infologs or project data from eGW.

I tried adding a calender event on the iPhone client and it didn’t appear in either eGW or iPhone. (it just disappear after I clicked OK)

I added a infolog that did appear in iPhone and eGW but when I restarted the iPhone app, it had gone from the iPhone (yet still remained in eGW)

I can’t get any information on my iPhone about my projects, nor can I enter any new projects. The iPhone client just says “There’s no project”

Is there anyway to fix this?

Hello,

igroupmind, our eGroupware iphone client has been updated on the Apple App Store.
This new version 1.0.1 solves a lot of connexions issues.
Caution : iGroupMind must be updated in the same time than e4iMind, the server part of the program.
Both version number are the same.

While we updated iGroupMind toward version number 1.1, we are proud to annonce that up from now, iGroupMind is available in two diferent versions :

  • a free version, iGroupMind LE, alowing you to test your connections and various features. You’ll be able to consult your calendar (10 events max), contacts and infologs. Projectmanager and item management are full version feature olny.

  • a normal version, iGroupMind, with full features. With this new update, the following features and bug fixes are provided :

  • You can add or modify a contact photo

  • Contact private phone number are now available

  • Fix a bug when adding a new participant to an event

  • Fix a bug on project dates (US/EN format)

  • When adding a new note as infolog you will be ask if you want to close it (100%) or not.
    -Fix a bug into projects modules. When there was a no-break space at the end of a description, the iPhone wasn’t available to parse the datas correctly.
