I want to use funambol 6.0.14 to syncronise my outlook 2003 with egroupware
1.4.002 running on a suse 10 PC with apache2. I’ve installed funambol on my
PC running outlook 2003 and didn’t change anything to my linux server.
When I want to syncronise, I get the error “server not found. Check server
url”
When I go to the location http://192.168.19.170/egroupware/rpc.php with a
webbrowser, I get the message “You need to set mbstring.func_overload to 0
for rpc.php. You should access this URL only with a SyncML enabled device.”
Can anyone tell me what the problem can be? Do I have to install or
configure something else at the linux server? Or change something in
egroupware?

I don’t get the message “set mbstring.func_overload = 0” anymore. But when I
want to syncronize the calendar, he says sync is done and there are no
errors in the logfile. But nothing changed into my outlook 2003. The
calendar is still blank.
What do I have to change into my egroupware to succeed the syncronasation?
I’m working my way through this too (with no success).
I changed the mbstring.func_overload to 0 in the php.ini, restarted the web server, and I still get that message about needing to set the value to 0! What am I doing wrong?!!??!
Also, what are the rest of the pieces of the puzzle, as alluded to below?
