Filemanager problem persists

Hello,

Egroupware are working fine on my server, except of FileManager, which won’t start, entering in a infinite redirectioning loop.

The log error of apache:

Mon Mar 29 18:09:59 2010] [error] [client 143.107.164.88] sqlfs_stream_wrapper::mkdir(‘sqlfs://Novo/a/home/bpapa’,448,8) permission denied!, referer: http://143.107.164.67/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=calendar.calendar_uiviews.index

I’ve tried some solutions found in the forum, but ended the same. My egw_sqlfs first three lines looks the same as on this TOPIC, except it has 1 column less, which I discovered it was fs_comment.

How can I get this working?

Your problem is a wrong set home directory (and that filemanager
redirects to your home directory, if you send it to an not existing
directory). You try to access /a/home/bpapa, which I guess should be
/home/bpapa.

Hum, I see.

Now I’m looking through the sqlfs_stream_wrapper to find where is the creation of directory, to see why there is that “a” over there.

So, am I going in the right direction?
I would aprecciate any enlightment on this subject!

Thanks!

sqlfs_stream_wrapper knows nothing about the extra /a, it’s just a
stream-wrapper. You could eg. check your mounttab by running
filemanager/cli.php mount --user root_{config_user} --passwd {config_passwd}
on the commandline (replacing {config_user|passwd} with your settings.

Is that a new install or an upgraded one (from which version)?

Did you use a slash in the domain/instance name, eg. “Novo/a”. That
would explain your problems. In that case either use the
filemanger/cli.php to fix your mount-tab or do a new install.

Problem Solved!

How: the person who installed egroupware on my server had put 2 different data bases on header and one of them had the instance name of “Novo/a”. I removed them both and created a new one named “basedadosegw”.

Why: I don’t exactly know, I suppose that while the system was trying to create a directory named “Novo/a” it was accessing the directory “a” inside “Novo”, or vice-versa.

Sorry if it isn’t so clear, but any question about the proccedures I made I would be available.

Thanks a lot Ralf!
