Summary: #1973 - Show all mail accounts on Home
I’d like to be able to display summary for all mail accounts on Home page, on line par account, instead of only display the active account.

Dear EGroupware user,

thanks for reporting feature requests to egroupware.org.

With the new release of EGroupware 1.8.001 we implemented many new features. So we kindly ask you to recheck your feature request against the new version. If it is still valid, please reopen it with the current version 1.8.001.

If you do not respond within the next 14 days, we assume the request is no longer necessary and it will be closed automatically.

Thanks for your understanding

Thats even more resource demanding even if it is done in the background.
Sure you may configure which accounts to show, thus maybe minimizing the demand, …
I, personally, do not regard that as a worthwhile feature.

I have a little different approach in my mind. Instead of showing summary on the Home page, it should display the last 5 mails from all accounts.
To avoid performance issues, the system should do the check in the background (like felamimail doing it) and the Home page shows the prefetched list of mails istead of doing the query in live.

Performance wise I don’t think this is a good idea, since if you want to retrieve Information for all
accounts, you have to connect to all accounts configured. That can be quite time-consuming, only
to display a summary seems not to be a tempting idea.
Though the result seems to be a nice feature, as you would have a portal-like email accounts overview. May be beeing able to auto-select the account as you click on the account summary
