Hello everybody
I was at the egroupware site and read, that you have to purchase “tickets”
(22 euros for each person per month) that you may want to be logged
simultaneusly. What is that? Wasnt this supposed to be free stuff?
EGroupware is open source (GPL licensed). That does NOT mean everything
around it is free.
Stylite GmbH, the main developer of EGroupware, offers hosting and other
services around EGroupware. These are of cause not for free, what do you
expect.
You can download EGroupware and install it on your own.
second thing, in the manual (for $ale also, the large one) it says speaks of
"extended user access rights" what is that extended?
My question: can that be used as an extranet in the sense that I create
several projects and then each client can access through his login to just
His project related stuff?
Sure
And the last worrying thing: it reads, you may not use egroupware for
commercial purposes! heaven, why would anybody want such a software if it is
not within the frame of your daily work?
Where do you read that? It’s simply not the truth. You might have
misunderstood something.
