Summary: #2828 - Users cannot login
A lot of my users cannot login anymore and will get the following errormessage:

Error: User “” is not permitted to get definition with identifier “3”!

This appeared after one of the last svn updates.
The apache error-log shows:

[Mon Jan 31 16:04:24 2011] [error] [client 81.169.145.25] PHP Warning: explode(): Empty delimiter in /srv/www/htdocs/phpgwapi/inc/class.egw.inc.php on line 317

It’s me again with some update: after deleting every importexport profile (which were made by setup in former times) I had succes with the normal-users login. I don’t know why it works now, but it does. The one definition I suspect to be responsible for the error message was an outlook eportdefinition for all normal users.

Good morning developers,
I changed the category for this ticket to importexport, as I am sure now, that this is related to the changes in this module. Nathan has built in a check against permissions and definitions and this is exactly the main problem. Obviously users without adminrights are not allowed to go on using the groupware, until they are permitted to “get definition with identifier “3”!”.
Maybe I made an empty definition by accidently pressing the importbutton without choosen a file to import (in “import definitionfile”).

Found out, that giving the restricted group of those users permissions to load the admin-application solves this problem. But this is (for securityreasons) not my intention. Any hints on this?
