Summary: #2478 - Backup no longer working
Trunk with postgresql - db backup no longer working (has been a while).

The backup file is created. Unpacking it - it contains this:

eGroupWare backup from 2010-02-05 15:37:35

version: 1.7.003

charset: utf-8

    $phpgw_baseline = array(

    );

schema: a:0:{}

And that is all.

No error messages in apache’s logs.

I’m having the same problem with 1.6.003.
In my database server this message is logged:
Feb 15 14:52:33 010-255-255-250 postgres[11093]: [6-1] AVISO: uso de escape fora do padrão em cadeia de caracteres no caracter 208
Feb 15 14:52:33 010-255-255-250 postgres[11093]: [6-2] DICA: Utilize a sintaxe de escape de cadeia de caracteres para escapes, i.e., E’\r\n’

it seems to be using an invalid escape sequence in some character when obtainning data from database.

database version:
postgresql-server-8.3.3

I’m trying to migrate to mysql backing up database and then restoring it into mysql.
