Summary: #1309 - Thai characters problems
If I try to send the following message using the FelamiMail client
and then open the email with FelamiMail, the message
is well presented.
มวยไทย - มวย = Muay = Boxe e ไทย = Thai = livre
But if I send the same message using Outlook 2003 and then open the email with FelamiMail only the following message is presented:
- = Muay = Boxe e = Thai = livre
I tried using HTML/Rich Text/Plain Text/ email formats in Outlook
but the results were the same above.

Dear bug reporter,
we finished the first release candidate for the upcoming 1.6 release
Therefore we kindly ask for your participation in fixing the remaining bugs. Please check if your reported bug is still present in the release candidate (report as 1.6.rc1) OR a newer svn checkout (report as Trunk).
If the bug still exists in 1.6.rc1 or Trunk, please update the version accordingly and indicate it in your comment.
If the bug does not exist in 1.6, but of cause still in 1.4, you can reopen it with version 1.4 - thought we probably don’t have the resources to fix non-security-critical bugs in 1.4.
If you don’t update your bug, we assume the issue no longer exists and the bug will be closed automatic after 14 days.
Thanks for your understanding
Ralf

Emails with Arabic(windows-1256) or Hebrew(windows-1256) characters have the same problem.
You could test with the character sets from the site:

Using Thunderbird, when I try to send the same message, he warn
that I must send the message as UTF-8 and if I select "Send in UTF-8",
the message is then presented well in the FelamiMail.
All messages sent with Outlook are well presented in Thunderbird.
They are encoded in windows-874.
We can force Outlook to encode all the messages in UTF-8:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402641033.aspx
I test it forcing UTF-8 in Outlook and the emails were well
presented in Felamimail.
The problem is that we can’t force everybody that send us and email
to encode the emails in UTF-8.
