Hello to everyone.
I need to make massive changes to my addressbook.
What I need is to replace users categories.
Basically the need to go from category_id 10 to category id 23
Can someone tell me how to?
I’m using eGroupWare Version 1.6.001

Hi Raffaele Colleo,
just go to your PHPMyAdmin and make a replace.
Update Tabellenname set category_id = 10
WHERE category_id =10
I am not sure, but if you google a bit for a sql replace it should be quite easy to find.
MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!

Sorry, this is NOT correct !
The categories are stored in the table egw_categories (postgres)
the link between categories and addressbook is addressbook.catid
BUT:
The addressbook.catid can contain more than one category divided by a ","
e.g.: 98,101,103
a simple replace will not replace all items.
