First. Bravo! on a job well done. I upgraded from v1.4 today and except for a few hiccups, everything is up and working. I like the smoother looking interface. Wiki seems much smoother. The system itself loads up faster. We activated Gallery2 and it is very cool indeed. I like the tweaks to the Calendar which fixed some nuisances.
Now for some lingering headaches:
Even from v1.4, eGw does not display well in Internet Explorer when the text titles are enabled under the tool bar icons/buttons. The text titles are hidden behind a graphic component. In Firefox, they display properly. I don’t know about Safari. That is an issue.
Secondly, Bookmarks are still at v1.2 and has a very irritating bug. When using Internet Explorer and in List view, when you move off the first page, you can’t go back to the first page. This bug is not present in Firefox. Don’t know about Safari.
Thirdly, again in Internet Explorer with Project Manager; when you try to view a sub-project by clicking on the magnifying glass that has been created under a main project, eGw sends you to the eGw homepage (which for us is set to the Wiki as our bulletin board). Firefox works fine, don’t know about Safari.
Fourthly, we have our own logo in the upper left hand corner of the portal. IE, it sits behind the top of the menu pane so some of it is obscured. In Firefox, it sits on top of the upper part of the menu pane, so then some of the menu pane is obscured
Any help on those pesky Internet Explorer issues would be great. Those same issues occured in IE6 as well as IE7.
