# Sitemgr: image path either invalid for the admin or for the website itself

Hello all

I want to manage the normal main website. That means.

egroupware is in:  
[http://egroupware.mydomain.xyz/](http://egroupware.mydomain.xyz/)

The Website-path in ftp is:

- /egroupware/sitemgr/sitemgr-site

The website’s URL is:

- [http://mydomain.xyz](http://mydomain.xyz)

Now the image path in Sitemgr options can’t be set right. It needs the  
following to be considered valid:

- /sitemgr/sitemgr-site/images/uploads

But then the webbrowser is looking for images in:

- [http://mydomain.xyz/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/images/uploads](http://mydomain.xyz/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/images/uploads)

Which is wrong since the images are in:

- [http://mydomain.xyz/images/uploads](http://mydomain.xyz/images/uploads)

## Because only _that_ corresponds to

[http://egroupware.mydomain.xyz/egroupware/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/images/uploads](http://egroupware.mydomain.xyz/egroupware/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/images/uploads)

IMHO the base the Sitemgr-Options use for checking the path is wrong. It  
should not check it agains the eGroupWare-Base-URL but against the  
Websites’s URL.

But that raises the question what fckeditor is doing when uploading an  
image. It most likely must get another path too.
