HI, I try to insert contact information from addressbook in document and instead of Russian words which have to be inserted in it I get something like this РﾘСЂРёРЅР° Владимировна Абрамова.
Please someone help me.
PS. Sorry, for my English

That looks pretty Russian to me 🙂

(sorry, couldn’t resist…)

What kind of document are you talking about? If it’s, lets say, MSWORD,
you need support from Microsoft and we probably can’t help you…

Check the Charset Settings for CSV Export (General Preferences and/or
Addressbook Preferences).

OpenOffice.

it seems I have found the problem solving:

class.addressbook\_merge.inc.php

…

function merge($document,$ids,&$err)

{

…

if ($this-\>contacts-\>prefs[‘csv\_charset’]) // if we have an export-charset defined, use it here to

{

$replacements = $GLOBALS[‘egw’]-\>translation-\>convert($replacements,$GLOBALS[‘egw’]-\>translation-\>charset(),$this-\>contacts-\>prefs[‘csv\_charset’]);
}

**foreach ($replacements as $r=\>$rr)**

**{**

**$replacements[$r]=iconv(“utf-8”,“cp1251”,$rr);**

**}**

…

maybe it is not very clever mode and I will be glad to hear another way:)

thanks for response:)
