Summary: #2258 - Disable some groups for User selection window
Since there are all groups of domain listed in User selection window, sometimes user accidentally assigns “domainusers” or other such a high-profile group to calendar event, or to Infolog task…
All of users then get invitations, notifications and so on.

It could be very handy to disable some groups assignation centrally, for all apps. User could click on group (users get listed), but clicking on the blue arrow for group would not add the group to the assignees list.

In calendar this is very easy, if the calendar-app is not selected in the group, the group will be not shown with the arrow.

For infolog there is no comparable feature, but thats nothing we will take care of in the next month.

Maybe Later

Dear EGroupware user,

thanks for reporting feature requests to [egroupware.org](http://egroupware.org).

With the new release of EGroupware 1.8.001 we implemented many new features. So we kindly ask you to recheck your feature request against the new version. If it is still valid, please reopen it with the current version 1.8.001.

If you do not respond within the next 14 days, we assume the request is no longer necessary and it will be closed automatically.

Thanks for your understanding
